Robert Topala is the original developer of the Geometry Dash game series, which has a side-scrolling, platforming gameplay. Initially, the game was made available for iOS and Android on August 13, 2013, and later on December 22, 2014, it was made available for Windows and macOS. When playing Geometry Dash, players are tasked with guiding a symbol through a series of musical levels while avoiding spikes and other obstacles.
The developer of Geometry Dash is responsible for the creation of a total of 26 long levels, 22 of which are auto-scrolling and four of which are of the "platformer" kind. On top of that, there is a short level called "The Challenge" that is completely unrelated to the other 26 levels in the game. Through the use of the system for building levels, users have the ability to create their own one-of-a-kind levels, share them online, and play levels that were created by other players. Cash in the game may be obtained from a number of sources, such as official and user-made levels and chests. This cash can be used to purchase items such as stars, moons, coins, mana orbs, or diamonds.
There have been three further spin-off games in the series that have been developed. These games are referred to as Geometry Dash Meltdown, Geometry Dash World, and Geometry Dash SubZero. There are both gameplay restrictions and advertisements in the free version of the main game, which is called Geometry Dash Lite.
In the very amusing video game Geometry Dash, you are tasked with completing each of the 22 pre-made stages by simply hopping over spikes and avoiding all of the obstacles that are there.
